Since early 2025 we have focused our global development work almost exclusively on Sierra Leone. This is because we believe that having a strong geographic focus means we are better informed and can form deeper relationships with our partners who we visit each year.
Sierra Leone ranks 185th out of 193 countries in the UN Human Development Index yet it remains disproportionately neglected by the wider global development community so we have high confidence that we can make a real difference there.
